Steve Sim

Construction Manager
“It means using your experience and intuition to see a solution others might not. It also means keeping your promises by consistently delivering on your innovative solutions.”

Steve Sim began his career as an electrician and worked his way up through the trades. In his 25 years of construction experience, including ownership of a building supply company, he’s developed a reputation for expertise in estimating and managing project costs.

“At Treeline, I oversee tenant build-outs, common area renovations and building system upgrades throughout the companies portfolio. And throughout the process I use my experience and intuition to develop creative solutions that save time and money. We do see things differently here and it’s because we’re always looking for the smarter solution,” he says.

When Steve joined Treeline in 2001, his experience was put to the test immediately. “I directed the complete ground-up rehabilitation of 177 and 180 Livingston Street. These were big, complex projects and Treeline trusted in my abilities to deliver the moment I walked in the door. When they hire someone, they become a valued member of the Treeline family and are treated as such.”

Today Steve oversees all aspects of tenant build-outs, common area renovations and building system upgrades throughout the firm’s property portfolio. A former U.S. Marine, he is an avid James Bond fan. He lives in Flushing with his wife and three children.
